Chair Colin Crabb
Colin was born in Looe and still lives in the town. He is a retired construction/project manager and now operates a small consultancy in Looe. He is an active member of Looe Sailing Club and Polperro Fishermen's Choir.Mr John Currah
John is a member of a longstanding Looe family and was born and brought up in West Looe. John and his wife, Alison, have three sons and four grandchildren. He began his association with West Looe Town Trust in 1999 as a Trustee and in 2006 was appointed Clerk and in July 2021 retired and became a Trustee again.James (Jimmy) Dingle
He was born and bred in Looe, and lived there for some seventy years. A long serving member of the Trust, he has also been a Looe Town Councillor for over forty years, and served on the East Looe Town Trust on and off since the late 1980's. He was an elected member to the now defunct Caradon District Council, while there he chaired the influential Environmental Services Committee. In his younger days he enjoyed playing snooker and billiards for the Looe Social Club, and snooker for the Looe Sailing Club. A keen whist player, he enjoys travelling and spending money on his wife. Easily recognisable, he has often been compared to George Clooney, albeit under carefully managed lighting conditions.Nicholas (Nick) Pope
Nick is a native of West Looe where he lives with his wife Mags and 3 cats. Nick works as an Associate Research Fellow and Health and Safety Advisor at the Marine Biological Association in Plymouth. Outside of work Nick enjoys a wide range of outdoor sports and can often be spotted near the back of Looe Pioneers training runs!Brian Porter
Brian, born in 1948, served an apprenticeship as a boatbuilder at 'Curtis & Pape' before running his own boatyard at Port Looe. Brian and his wife, Kathryn, also owned and operated 'Martin's Dairy' for 23 years.Brian served as a retained fireman in Looe for 32 years and has also been a Trustee of the West Looe Town Trust for many years.
Mr Paul Richardson
Paul comes from a local family and grew up living in West Looe, in his early teens he crossed the bridge and lived in East Looe for a few years, but returned to West Looe in 1991 when he got married to Vicky and moved to Hannafore. Paul and Vicky have three children: Tom, Alex, and Emily.In his career, he has worked in construction, initially as a plumber and then as a Manager for Jewson. He is a long-standing volunteer for 1st Looe Sea Scouts.
His favourite activities include family life, music, and cycling.
